I can’t believe today makes a year since you’ve been gone.. saying you had so much most potential is such an understatement & it hurts and makes me so sad that this happened to you.. especially so young; before you got to really live life. This year your bestie Philip & I helped each other while grieving so much, you’d be so proud of him. We wish you could’ve been apart of the memories we’ve made while reminiscing and celebrating you & i’ve constantly wished so many things were different/went differently, but this most of all by far. It’s almost been 2 months and it’s hard Tati. I have you all around my house to provide me with a piece of you and that beautiful smile. Everyday I get to see you while i’m working and it provide me with some comfort. I started therapy to help me process through and I pray you continue to feel all the love that we have given you since you’ve transitioned. We used to hit up Justice & Jamia like “runway this Friday??” and be outside til like 5am having the time of our lives, thinking we were so grown up 😂 💔

Literally more than a friend & more than a sister to me.. my literal soulmate. People used to make jokes about the cheesy pictures we would take together & i’m so thankful we were as cheesy as we were together, because I know for sure you know how much I love you. Our bond will never be replaced in my heart, i’ll be missing you until we meet again 💕🦋👯‍♀️

Everywhere in Broward, but especially our area Plantation/Davie reminds me of you & the memories we made since we were kids.. I can vividly see our flashbacks right in front of me, from that street we’d walk on by Ivan’s house in middle school every Friday after school, just You, Justice, Lilly, Ivan & I walking up that long road to get to McDonald’s, making dance routines & playing outside until our mom’s came to get us.. to that accident you, Justice & I witnessed in my beat up first car by that Walgreens/Checkers by south, to the Kabooms we’d go to by my house.. I could go on & on 💔 

None of this feels real to me and I don’t think it ever will.. you know i’ve never experienced death close to me & I hate that it had to be you of all people to teach me this lesson. Tati was everything people that love her have said she is.. the life of the party, the sunshine in everyone’s life, a true best friend, the funniest person ever, extremely book smart and beautiful both on the outside and inside and thick! *Tati’s voice & that “yup” face she makes*  dat part, period  (Our obsession w being thick & twerking every moment we saw fit since middle school - college still makes me laugh, every time I go in my living room I have flashbacks of you, Justice & I in my living room after school making up dance routines for our group, then I can’t stop laughing & crying 😭)  I’m so thankful for our shared sadness from missing our dads as kids brought us together, like Phil said, you must have been able to sense that certain people needed you in their lives & we absolutely needed each other to get through that and all of the other obstacles life threw at us over the years, i’m beyond thankful I have 2,000 recorded/photo graphed memories with you, they’ve been helping me a lot, but I can’t wait to see you again one day and finally get to catch up on everything that’s happened in life since we last saw each other 💔 until then, everything I do is going to be for you, especially graduating & continuing to better myself in every way.. I used to tell you I hope my future daughter is just like you & I still hope for that because Wendy definitely raised the most perfect  & most intelligent person i’ve ever known (Tati was chatgbt before it existed, literally the smartest girl ever, I always knew she’d grow up to be the best at w.e she decided to do 😂) Your voice will forever echo in my head cheering me on & pushing me when I want to quit (you know better than anybody when I used to get tired of something i’d be ready to say i’m done with this 😭) I love you forever & after that💔

At a loss for words, nothing I say will make things better. We had that type of friendship where we wouldn’t chill regularly, but when we did, we picked up right where we left off.  Wish we could’ve chilled once last time. Thank you Tati for always including me. For her family, I pray for peace & direction. Gone but never forgotten, she will be missed 4ever. Friday nights at work won’t be the same. Pulling up  and getting out the cars at the same time to walk into work  together is a routine I can’t believe won’t be anymore. All I can hear right now is "Bffl” Tati's cute little acronym for Best Friends For Life. One thing I would say that was special about Tati is that she definitely had a superpower. I actually recognized that recently. She had the ability to tell who needed her in their life. I did not know I needed her, but she could tell that her presence would bring a lot of joy into my life, and that's exactly what it did.
