It was an honor knowing and working with Scott.  


Sadly another member of our family has left this earth for a far better place. Uncle Scott was a beloved friend, brother, uncle, father, and husband. Enjoyed every time we had a chance to get together. He was there with comforting words when I lost my wife. He gave us all  uplifting  words when our mother, his sister-in-law passed away. It was my pleasure and luck to be a small part of his life. I know my aunt will be very lonely till they met again. She knows we are all here for her. Till I see you again Uncle, fair winds and smooth sailing. I’ll miss you. Love you brother!

  Unfortunately we didn’t know you very long but your genuine personality made a great impact on us. You were a kind, funny, generous human being and that is hard to come by. It was an honor for us to have shared a beer and meal with you.           
                                                                             


You made an impact on everyone you met, I will be forever grateful I was able to call you my friend. Fair seas and following winds my friend.  

I cannot believe this is the only picture I have of us together.  It was a pleasure eating your last Thanksgiving meal with you this past year. 

 


Thank you for always being there for me and Lance. For being who you are, I’m going to miss your funny sarcasm remarks and the times we spent together at gatherings and having a few drinks in your garage. To a great man who took everyone in as his own family, love you…will miss you dearly! 💕
Thanksgiving 2021

One of the saddest weeks of my life; Scott was like a grandfather to me out of many. Scott and Norma touched many people's lives, especially mine. I was fortunate enough to say my goodbyes to him the day before; I wish others could have too. We have many memories together, like shooting, hunting, fishing, and drinking beer in the garage and saying grace at your dinner table. I have learned a lot from this man. You will be missed greatly.

Scott Hunnicutt was a loving, caring cousin who will be truly missed at our cousin’s reunions which were held annually before Covid.  He was the life of the party with his great sense of humor and his wit.  He loved being the only male cousin in a group of seven females.  
Scott followed in his father’s footsteps and retired from Amtrak. He loved cooking, fishing and spending time with his loving wife Norma and his family.  Scott was energized by people and loved doing for others.  
Rest In Peace Dear Cousin. We will always set a place for you at the table when we get together.
