Andrew Ray Lash

Andrew (Andy) Ray Lash, 42, of Tampa went peacefully to Glory on July 2, 2023, with those who loved him the most at his side. Born at St Joseph’s Women’s Hospital in October 1980, to Beverly and Jeffrey Lash. Andy grew up in Temple Terrace with his brothers, Kyle and Jeffrey, playing baseball and doing what brothers do. Later, Phil Dubord entered his life when he married Beverly. The family moved to New Tampa, and in conjunction with Dr. Jeffrey Lash, shared in raising and loving Andy. Andy was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching all his hometown teams and coaching his son’s baseball teams. He loved fishing, being a father and spent much of his time with his children, Kelli and Cameron. Compassion and kindness were the way he lived his life. Andy was a giver, a helper of all people and a lover of animals, rescuing many throughout his years. He was a persevering and dedicated man always aiming to live the best life he could and loving his family enormously. His love and kindness impacted all those who surrounded him throughout his life, and he will be forever missed and loved by his family and friends. In one of his most generous acts of giving, Andy had chosen to donate his organs and was able to successfully give a chance at life to several people after his passing.

Andy is survived by his adoring mother, Beverly Dubord and stepfather, Phil Dubord. His loving father Dr. Jeffrey R. Lash, DMD and wife Barbara Lash. His first born and very loved son Talon, daughter Kelli and son, Cameron Lash. Youngest brother, Kyle Lash and wife Sasha, nephews Kaeden, Kollin and Koen. Oldest brother Jeffrey Wheelis and his wife Nadine Wheelis, nephews Brandon and Matthew and niece Taylor. Grandmother Juliann Bohannon. Aunt, Pamela Santamaria and husband Bart. Aunt, Terri Garrey and husband Bob. Aunt, Valarie Whittington and husband Mike. Uncle, Timothy Lash and wife Cheryl. Cousins, Heather, Sarah, Leanna, Kevin, Chris, Mike, Danielle, Josh and many second cousins.

Andy was pre-deceased by his grandfather’s Frank Bohannon, and Ray Lash. Grandmothers, Sarah (Lovie)Lash and Louise Bohannon. Uncle Tom Lash, Uncle John Bohannon and Cousin Jamie.
