Ann C Jacobson

Ann Catherine (Haggerty) Jacobson 77 died August 30, 2024, in Melech Hospice House, Tampa, Florida. She was the wife of Robert Joseph Jacobson who died February 1, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Shinsec) Haggerty and was born on October 3, 1946, in Palmerton, Pa. She is survived by her sister Louise and brother-in-law Emery Dudra, her sister Rita and brother-in-law-Edmund Gargula and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and enjoyed many happy times together. Ann is preceded in death by her brother-in-law James R McGorry.

Ann graduated from Marian High School, Coaldale, Pa. in 1964, and Eckerd College, St Petersburg, Fl. in 1998. She worked mainly in the medical field where she was a Manager in Network Development for Multi Plan and Beech Street Companies and worked for Cigna Insurance Company.

Ann enjoyed travelling, visiting and vacationing with her families in Pennsylvania and loved the local Florida beaches especially Indian Rocks. She also loved shopping for clothes and accessories and crafty items for her home. She was active in volunteer work for A Safe Haven for New Borns and was a Chapter Coordinator in Pinellas and Hillsborough County.
