Born in Galveston, Texas, Arl made his home in Tampa, Florida, where he built a life full of laughter, love, and adventure. Known for his big heart, quick wit, and love of life, Arl never missed a good cruise, a trip to the casino, or a chance to hit the road with his family for an adventure. He worked proudly for many years as a Pipe Fitter with Local 123, where he built not only pipelines but lifelong friendships.
Arl is lovingly remembered by his children Shannon, Phillip, Arlena, and Justin; his grandchildren Wayne, Jalena, Zachary, Eva, Daniel, Alexandra, and Andrew; and his six great-grandchildren, who will grow up hearing stories of his laughter, kindness, and unforgettable sense of humor.
A memorial and celebration of Arl’s life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, at 10:00 a.m. at Garden of Memories, located at 4207 E Lake Ave, Tampa, Florida 33610. Family and friends are invited to come share stories, laughter, and memories—just the way Arl would’ve wanted.
Arl will be deeply missed, but his spirit, laughter, and love for life will continue to sail on in the hearts of those who knew him best.
