Erickson, Bernard L., 88, passed away after a short illness on February 8, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Muriel; daughters, Debbie (Jerry) and Donna (Bill); grandchildren, David, Jennifer and John; sister, Florence Dempster of California; brother, Neil (Carol) of New Jersey and numerous nieces and nephews. Bernard attended Seton Hall University 2 years before being drafted into the Army and helped liberate Korea at the end of WWII. He retired from Walter Industries and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church serving in Stephens Ministries and teaching high school Bible class. He was also a Hospice volunteer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or Lifepath Hospice. A memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 13, 2016.
