Burton, Betty Jane, 87, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2015. Betty was born in St. Louis, MO and relocated to Tampa, Florida in 1998. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Burton and one son, Thomas Collings and one daughter, Cindy Collings. She is survived by her other four children, Dave Collings (Soontaree); Joseph Collings; Tony Collings (Jacquelyn) and Kelly Hornbeek; as well as five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A strong and unselfish woman, she will be missed by friends and family. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. with a service to follow at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa Fl 33618. Interment to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
