

Carl William Genk peacefully left this physical world on Sunday, February 27, 2011 with family by his side. Born January 5, 1922, Mr. Genk grew up in Clementon, New Jersey. During World War II, he was a proud member of General Patton’s 133rd Armored Division, serving as an Army Corporal in the European Theatre.
He raised his family in Laurel Springs New Jersey and retired to Florida in 1990 after more than 20 years at Langston Corp. in Camden NJ.
Mr. Genk is survived by his loving family: sons, David and Carl Genk; Stepson David Carver, Step-daughter Janine Reister; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Mr. Genk’s life will be held Friday, March 4 from 2pm to 4pm at University Village Retirement Community (12401 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, 33612) in the East private dining area. Friends and family of Mr. Genk are warmly invited to attend.
