

Carmen was born in Grand Forks, ND to Edward and Lucetta Lea on January 16th, 1972.
Carmen was preceded in death by her father, Edward Kenneth Lea.
Carmen is survived by her mother, Lucetta; brother, David (Melanie); niece, Anabelle; nephews, Simon and Caleb; special sister, Violet Sansom. As well as aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
She was involved in Special Olympics competing and excelling in swimming and volleyball. Carmen resided in a McClain, Inc. group home and attended MacDonald Training Center where she was involved in many activities.
Carmen was a fun-loving soul who never met a stranger. She loved her family and friends profoundly.
Visitation will be from 11am – 1pm on Monday, January 27th at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel; 3207 W. Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. Burial will follow at Bushnell Florida National Cemetery from 2pm – 2:30pm.
