Carolyn Martin , 72, of Tampa, FL (formerly of Glen Dale, WV) passed away on Saturday May 31, 2014 at home after a hard fought battle with cancer. She enjoyed spending time with her immediate family, friends and neighbors, while keeping in touch with her West Virginia friends and family she loved dearly.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Vandilla Copenhaver. Survivors include her loving husband of 50 years, Gary Martin, daughter, Lori Nelson and her husband Andrew, their children Drew and Paige, son, Jon Martin and his wife Rain, their children Corbin and Chayton.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th at 5:00 pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel. In lieu of flowers family requests you make a contribution in Carolyn’s name to either the American Cancer Society or to LifePath Hospice in Tampa, FL.
