Dear Charlene,

The support you gave to my mother, Margaret Cameron, was so greatly appreciated. Your spunk and can-do attitude help Mom face the many challenges she faced in her short life. It is significant you passed on the same day. My hope is Mom has reunited with her dear friend and they both are enjoying the peace and joy both deserved.

It is hard to believe Charlene has been gone for two years. I have such wonderful memories of her. This is also the day, 39 years ago, that my Mother passed away. I can see them now visiting with one another. I can see them now sharing with one another, laughing, and Charlene saying, "Oh the heck!"

Charlene always brought me great peace, I can only hope she knew how much I appreciated it. Visiting Charlene and Jo Ellen made my visits to Dade City worth the drive. She could find the good side in any situation. May peace be with her and the family.

Charlene was a  very smart strong talented lady she never judge anyone  ,The Armstrong family  were the first family my parents Donald and Margaret Cameron met In 1965 my parents transferred from NY they  remain friends for 57 yrs  . Thank you for being loyal and kind  Charlene   was Legend Thought and prayer go out to the family RIP Charlene 
 

I'm so sorry to hear this but Charlene surely lived a good long life. As Bonnie,  I think of you all often and wish we would have stayed in touch. I remember Mom and Dad loving to come and visit your parents. They always commented on what a great host your Mom was. Your Mom and I shared the same birthdate, April 18th.   The picture is a lamp your Dad made for Mom and Dad. I was lucky enough to inherit it.   Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about aunt Charlene’s passing. During the years I thought about Charlene and you  kids several times. It’s too bad we didn’t stay in touch. My love and sympathies to all of you. Niece Bonnie Arnsmeier, Gedmin.

Dear Armstrong Family,

Your mom was such a support to my mother Margaret Cameron. Her positive outlook and boundless energy uplifted us all. I will be eternally grateful for the love and care she showered on our family. She will be missed.

Much love to you all at this challenging time. She passed the same day as my mom. I would like to think Mom was there to greet her friend at Heaven's Gate.



 There was nobody quite like Charlene. She was generous, altruistic, benevolent and extremely down to earth and she gave so much, to so many, so well.  She brought out the best in everybody. Take that and wrap it around a wonderful sense of the absurd and a highly infectious laugh that always made others laugh and there you have it!  She knew my family for 57 years. Our treasury of memories began in 1965 when her husband, Joe, shared a room with Dad at the old St. Joseph's in Tampa Heights. It was a delight and pleasure to speak with Charlene several times a year over many years,  and she was an inspiration to me and I am sure to many others. You could not ask for a better friend; she was such a magnificent lady who made the world a much better place.  She is in a much better place and the angels are leading her in paradise. Prayers are going up for your family.  May you have all that you need today, and in the days forthcoming.

Sorry for the loss of your mother and our Aunt Charlene. Lot's of memories of growing up are so special. Her laugh n happiness  I would always enjoy on our phone visits. Love to all you girls and family. 

Our hearts go out to you and your family. We have many fond memories of Aunt Charlene and will always cherish them and forever miss her back rubs ❤️
