Dalia Zeller

She is survived by her son Steve(wife Becky), Daughter Karen, Grandson Keaton, Brother Tony along with many Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Father Jose Menendez, Mother Maria, Brothers Joe, Marcelino, Sisters Aida and Carmen.

Dalia was born on September 22nd,1936 in Tampa, Florida to parents Jose and Maria Menendez. She grew up in Ybor City before moving to Flint, Michigan at age 16. She returned to Tampa in 1967 where she worked for Tropical Garment/Perry Ellis until her retirement in 2002.

She was a member of Las Chica’s Service Club and the Son’s of Italy where she enjoyed line dancing.

Dalia loved her children, grandson, family and friends. She enjoyed shopping with her daughter Karen and best friend Dalba. She loved the beautiful beaches and parks that Florida has and being outdoors where she could walk and enjoy the beauty.

Her family and friends will always remember Dalia as a kind and giving person who enjoyed being on the go, laughing and enjoying life.

A celebration of Dalia’s life will be held April 30th, 2022 from 10-1 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel located at 3207 West Bearss Ave. Tampa, Florida with a reception to follow at 16113 Belle Meade Blvd. Odessa, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Human Society of Tampa Bay or the American Heart Association.
