Diana Zimmer of Tampa, FL, passed peacefully in her home on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, with family by her side. She moved to Tampa, FL, from Neenah, WI, in 1983. Diana was very dedicated to her career of 25 years, but always found time to enjoy hobbies such as sewing, poetry, jigsaw puzzles, and reading novels. She was very crafty and could fix or build just about anything. Diana is survived by her children, Anthony Zimmer and Tamara Zimmer; grandsons, Jadon Dunn and Deklyn Zimmer; and five siblings. A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, May 9, from 4pm-6pm at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. in Tampa, FL 33618. Family and friends are encouraged to wear Diana's favorite color purple. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation with "cancer department in memory of Diana Zimmer" on the memo line.
