Dulce M. Alfaras, 99 years old was born in Santa Clara, Cuba. She was a resident of Tampa for 65 years, passed away at Melech Hospice House, peacefully with her loving family and friends by her side. She is survived by her son, Rene E. Alfaras; granddaughter, Jane’t M. Alfaras; and forty seven nephews and nieces. Dulce was a past member of La Orden de Demas de la Luz and a member of Iglesia Bautista Macfarland Park. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue., Tampa, FL 33610, with Pastor Pablo A. Urbay officiating, interment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Henry Guzman, Frank Castillo, Ruben Alfaras, Darryl Nunn, Jorge Martinez, Andrew Holcombe, Paul Paredes, and Ramon Rios .The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, may make donations to Life Path Hospice Melech Hospice House, 11125 N. 52nd. St. Temple Terrace, FL 33617 in her memory.
