

Ella Dean married the love of her life, James “Jimmy” Irvin, on August 6, 1956. Together they shared 67 devoted years of marriage until his passing. Their life together was a testament to enduring love, faith, and family.
Ella Dean spent more than 50 years in the Riverview, Florida area before moving to Orange Park. Her life was deeply rooted in her faith, and nothing brought her greater joy than her church, her relationship with God, and the time she spent with her family. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—painting, visiting with loved ones, taking walks outdoors, working puzzles, and listening to the Redeemed Quartet.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Jonathan (Carrie) Irvin; her daughter, Tzyporah Rosenzweig-Horton; her grandchildren, Justin (Emily) Irvin, Cristina (Joe) Conley, Kaitlyn Irvin, Clayton Ray, Cheyanne (Will) Mills, and Hannah (Josh) Diamond; and her great-grandchildren, Raegan, Jackson, Ivan, Isaac, Emery, and Logan. She is also survived by her brothers, Don (Sandy) Sandlin and Ron (Misun) Sandlin, and her sister, Faye (Tal) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James E. Irvin, and her sisters, Bonnie Lupton and Barbara Hutto.

A private service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.
Ella Dean will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.
