Eric “Scoop”,

Although we lost touch over the years I am grateful we were able to re-connect recently. Although we never got that beer here in Vancouver I will forever remember the times we stepped on the ice together as teammates and lived together at the hockey house. I also knew you were going to be successful in life and you are nothing short of a role model to all of us. Life life to the fullest and with no regrets. RIP buds, you touched all of us.

A great loss to be sure. We had quite the time in London and traveling around Europe in Law School. I'll never forget your Livin La Vida Loca!!!! You were a blast to be around

To Family & Friends,

As part of the greater U of D hockey team family, we spent many enjoyable winter nights watching Eric and the team at the rink both home and on the road. We sincerely hope that he had as much fun playing the game as we did watching. It is with the deepest sense of sorrow that we offer our condolences to you at this time!

Eric,

What can one possibly say about someone with whom you have shared such a large part of your life with. The only way to describe you is as my brother. You gave me the gift of friendship, which is something I could never duplicate. The thought of never having you yell at me when your hungry or when I wake you up on your days off is something I just can not process. With that being said, our trips together, shopping sprees and long dinners that lasted hours will never be forgotten. I know that I will never have that friend and brother that you were to me ever again and that pains me. I can only hope my children are blessed to get an Eric to grow old with.

Our plans did not work out as we always thought they would, but those memories will be a part of my life till we meet again. I can not wait to get one of those big hugs again. I love you Eric and will do all I can to cherish your memory with those closest to you as that would be the one thing I know you would ask of me. Thank You for all you gave to me. I miss you terribly.

Love,

Paul

I have so many memories going back to when we were 5 years old playing hockey outside in white plains freezing and loving every minute of it. Our high school and college years at UD were packed full of great times. You were the sole reason for how I met my wife, and for wonderful life I now have. I will always cherish those memories and hold them close to my hart. It was an honor and a privilege to have called you my friend. Rest easy my brother
