

Frank (Francis Anthony) Pinciotti Jr, 92, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 at his residence in Tampa. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. to Frank and Anna Pinciotti. He lived the majority of his life in the Philadelphia, Pa and Tampa Fl. area. Frank was preceded in death by his first wife Irene whom he was married to for 22 years. He is survived by his wife Sonia of 42 years, 4 sons and 2 daughters, Stephen Pinciotti, of New Hope, Pa, Joyce Dennis and her husband Steve of Denton, TX, William Pinciotti and his wife Troy of San Antonio, FL, Diane Wehrle and husband Mark of Lakewood, Co, Glenn Pinciotti and his wife Diana of Riverview, FL. and James Pinciotti and his wife Rhina of Land O’ Lakes, Fl. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph Pinciotti and wife Marie of Philadelphia, Pa, David Pinciotti and wife Peggy of San Diego, Ca. and sister Hannah Pinciotti, of Tucson, AZ, Frank was blessed to have 14 Grandchildren; Julie, Tiffany, William, Michael, Leigh, Lauren, Nicole, Cynthia, Francis, Gabriel, Julia, Annalysa, Lyndsy, Lexi, and 17 Great Grandchildren Gavin, Cole, Brigham, Caiden, Easton, Kameron, Kyler, Klayton, Ava, Nina, Scarlet, Harlow, Liam, Wyatt, Riley, Blake and Hadlee (to be born June 3) and his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other friends.
Frank was a Proud Marine and Veteran of World War II. He was the author of a famous saying that is on display in the US Marine Corp Museum in Quantico Va. The saying “With the Grace of God and a Few Marines, MacArthur is back in the Philippines”. This saying is known throughout Marine core halls and is a sense of pride. Frank loved his fellow Marines and was proud to call himself one, SEMPER FI!! He was a passionate man who enjoyed every minute of every day. He was the Owner of Pinciotti Crane Rental in the Philadelphia area for 30+ years and then moved to Tampa and was the Owner of F&S Crane Rental as well. He was an avid and gifted wood carver with many of his carving on display throughout the United States. In his spare time he enjoyed wood carving, painting, fly fishing, sailing, traveling and watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up and participate in many activities.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bears Avenue, Tampa, FL. 33624. The Mass will be on Tuesday April 10, 10:30-11:30 pm at St Mary’s Catholic Church 15520 N Blvd Ave, Tampa, FL. 33614. Followed by a Military Burial at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513 at 01:30pm.
