Glenn Floyd passed too soon on May 19, 2015. He loved the outdoors, motorcycles, music, his family (both biological and those whom he adopted), and making people laugh. This obituary represents everything he would have hated, making a fuss over his passing and spending money on unnecessary things. He is survived by a number of friends and family members: best friend, Jannie; daughters, Megan and Brandi (Jason); siblings, Joyce (Jack) Jones, James Clyde, Roy, Don (Kenny), Michael (Danny), Debbie (Thomas) and Steve (Jeannette); sisters-in-law, Rachel, Belinda, and Nina; friend, Sybil and his many nieces and nephews, who each held a special place in his heart.
Heaven will be a little more rambunctious as he joins his brother, Bobby. Luckily, his mother and father, Louise and Johnnie will be there to keep the two of them in line. He is in the company of cherished loved ones who have gone before him.
There will be a Memorial Service Friday, May 19, 2015 at 10:30 am at Veterans Park. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to whatever Republican candidate ends up running against Hilary Clinton, the NRA, or buy a Veteran lunch. Make someone laugh today, pray for our troops, and keep his spirit alive.
