Gloria Diaz, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Aurelio Diaz. Gloria is survived by her two sons, Alan (and his wife, Natasha) of Canton, GA, and Randy (and his wife, Melinda) of Land O'Lakes. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Desiree, Randall (and his wife, Leilani), Aden, and Abby, as well as four great-grandchildren, Nathan, Devin, Olivia and Victoria.
A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gloria was also a proud alumni of the University of Tampa. She dedicated 20 years of her life to educating young minds as an elementary school teacher.
The family will hold a private service at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home.
