For those who traveled to be with us on Friday, August 30, 2024,
we thank you and pray for your safe return to your loved ones, and for family and friends who were not able to make the funeral mass, we've kept you in prayer, and close to our hearts.

Harold was probably the most fun-loving, friends-with-everyone, 'live life to the fullest' person I have ever known. I am incredibly fortunate to have had him for a friend... and so grateful for the times we shared.  I will forever miss his infectious personality  and his laughter...and I will always smile when I think of him. But I will always wish there could have been more time. 

My deepest, heartfelt condolences to his entire family and all of his friends. Rest in peace, Harold. You fought like a boss.

Harold, Our paths crossed at Chamberlain High School and an instant friendship began. From cracking jokes in English class getting in trouble with the crew. To beach week and Beer Olympics.  To going on "the Run" in the black Volkswagen listening to Depeche Mode speak and spell. Too later run the streets in New Orleans Mardi Gras and doing unspeakable things. You my friend are one of a kind. Your laughter and sense of humor always made everything that much more enjoyable. We were all blessed to have known you and I cannot believe that you are no longer with us. To his family his kids and his sister Marcel I am profoundly sorry for your loss. All I can say is this world is a little less cool without Harold Venegas in it. Until we meet again my friend but not yet. Godspeed Harold we love you brother your friend always

Harold walked in and the whole place filled with joy. Every party. Classroom. Hallway. I'm so sorry to know our classmate is gone.  Harold brought so much laughter to this world. 
I'm deeply sorry for the family's loss. May God bring you peace in this difficult time.  Harold will never be forgotten in the hearts of our Class of '86.

His heart and soul to help other people it always be remember. And his friendship it was important for him.
Also I will remember him because we have the same date of birthday but ten years later

I vividly remember my friend Wedge from Chamberlain High School, Class of 1986.  He left an impression on me so much that I remember almost 40 years later that we named him Wedge, but don’t remember why.  It’s been too long……..  Funny, popular and always showing off his wonderful smile.  He is with God in heaven. We all pray for his loved ones. My deepest condolences.

I first met Harold in 2000 while he was living in Los Angeles. As a longtime car enthusiast in a city overflowing with sports cars, convertibles, and SUVs, I was struck by how much joy Harold got from driving his company car—a Ford Crown Victoria. But this wasn’t just any Crown Vic; it was decked out with the kind of luxury befitting his role as a Phillip Morris executive. Long before “Pimp My Ride” hit the MTV airwaves, cruising with Harold in that car, packed with friends, remains a happy memory I’ll never forget. Rest in peace, Harold.

From our high school shenanigans to the honor of speaking at your wedding, we’ve been through a lot together over the years. 

You always knew how to keep things real and keep us laughing. The good times we had will stick with me. Rest easy, my friend—you'll be missed but never forgotten.

My idol, best friend, my best man, my mentor, and the one I am most proud of….my brother! 

And one last thing that only Harold would get: “ You think with a financial statement like this you can have the duck?” 

Well, I hope you are now eating  a lot of duck Harry.

I am truly devastated by learning that Harry has passed. He started off as being one of the greatest people I have ever worked with, and ended up being someone I consider a true friend. We started off just cleverly making fun of each other and it developed into having genuine conversations. There are too many memories to fit into one tribute, but he will be someone that I will remember and miss until my last day on earth.
