He was preceded in death by his parents, James Artie Trice and Gertrude Nellie Trice and 5 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, June Trinkle Trice; children, Herbert Hoover Trice Jr. and Cynthia Hixon and Karen Jean Trice; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandkids; and sister, Eula Kent.
He lived in the Tampa and Mango area for 72 years and worked at Tom’s Peanuts as a sub distributer for 50 years. The family will receive friends for Visitation Saturday, June 13, 2020 between 1 and 2 p.m. at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Avenue, Tampa. Services will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by Interment at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
