Israel Ropiza

Israel was the cherished husband of 67 years to his beloved wife, Blasina Ropiza, who preceded him in death in 2020, and whom he considered the love of his life.

He is survived by his daughter Araminta Diaz, sons Israel Ropiza Jr., and Robert "Bobby" Ropiza, along with his granddaughters Jessica Noa and Alexis Machin, and grandsons, Joshua Ropiza and Justin Ropiza. His legacy extends to four great-grandchildren – Kiano, Milani, Niko, and Lucas.

Israel was a loving and caring father, grandfather, and brother whom he dedicated himself wholeheartedly to. He was a friend to all that had the privilege of knowing him. A true entrepreneur and jack of all trades, his passion for real estate made him a savvy businessman.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Israel found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved dancing, baseball, boxing and most of all, spending time with his family. His infectious spirit made him the life of every party. With his ever-present smile and penchant for jokes, Israel touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Israel will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 E LAKE AVE, TAMPA, FL 33610, followed by a funeral service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
