James Bobby Croft, known by his friends as Bob or J.B., was an avid outdoor enthusiast who loved hunting and fishing, shooting sporting clays, sports of all kinds, his dogs, and growing pineapples.
A graduate of Chamberlain High School, he lettered in baseball. After graduation, he made a career as a supervisor in production stores and inventory control at Tampa Electric. He enjoyed playing for the company softball team. After leaving TECO, he started his own contracting company, Croft Residential LLC.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Curtis and Tommie Mae. He is survived by his loving wife Pat, his daughter Trisha Hamilton, son Bobby Croft, and sister Marilyn Stefher.
