John E. Toops, Jr., 71, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 in Tampa, Florida. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to John and Sarah Irene (Pettifor) Toops. John was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother, Don and son, Shane Curtis Toops. John resided in Weeki Wachee, Florida with his girlfriend Beckie Willis. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Fox and Mindee Norris; grandsons, Tyler and Tanner Fox and Nathan Norris; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins. John was a retiree from Waste Management in Columbus, Ohio. He loved boating, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends.
