A gentle man full of kindness and love with a heart of gold.
John was a devoted, loving husband and father. He loved his family, the beach, grilling and gardening. Each year, twice a year he grew tomatoes in his earth boxes. They were planted from seed and grew in abundance which were shared with kindness to all.
He was the master barbecue chef and everyone was treated to wonderful meals from his Big Green Egg. His favorite thing to bake was homemade cornbread made in cast iron. Everyone enjoyed his homemade spaghetti sauce made every week from a secret recipe handed down from his mother. He was an avid music fan and movie buff.
John was a proud Veteran of the Armed Forces and served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed watching the Blue Angels practice at Fort Pickens National Park in Pensacola, Florida. One of his favorite beaches was in the Panhandle where we visited every year.
He retired from Bank of America as a Network Engineer in Global Technology after 34 years of service. He was an extremely talented person in every aspect.
