John Peter Weicherding Sr. passed away into the loving arms of his Lord on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jean Weicherding of Sun City Center, FL; son, John P. Weicherding, Jr. (Heather) of Lutz, FL; grandson, J.P. of Lutz, FL; daughter, Susan M. Weicherding (Lyna) of Lithia, FL; his brother, Mike Weicherding (Diane) Ocala, FL; his sister Judy Anderson (Gary) of Plymouth, MN.
He truly enjoyed his woodworking, puttering around in the garage (his man cave), playing golf and RV traveling with Jean around the country.
A visitation will be held at 2pm at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home and Cemeteries, 4207 E. Lake St., Tampa, FL with a memorial service to follow at 3pm.
