Calcaterra, Joseph “Joe” Mario, 38, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017. Joe is survived by his wife, Ashley Calcaterra; two sons, Anthony and Lucas Calcaterra; parents, Thomas Calcaterra and Beth Calcaterra; brother, James Calcaterra; sister, Jennifer Calcaterra; grandmother, Mary Ann Jones; in laws, Dean and Kathy Anderson; brother in law, Cory Anderson; grandparents in law, Joe and Mary Durrer, and David and Donna Anderson; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joe was a loving husband and devoted father to his two children. He was also a wonderful son and caring brother. Joe loved anything that had to do with the outdoors including fishing, kayaking, and camping – and especially soccer games on Saturday mornings with his kids. To celebrate his life, a memorial service will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa. The family will start receiving guests at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted to help the family through this very difficult time.
