Kathleen Porello DeMaria

Kathleen Porrello De Maria died peacefully on October 15, 2017 in her home in Tampa, FL at the age of 80. Mrs. De Maria was predeceased by her husband, Carl De Maria Sr. and her son, Carl De Maria, Jr. She is survived by her son Joseph De Maria (Becky) and Dr. Christopher De Maria (Melissa) as well as 7 grandchildren Jennifer De Maria Michaelson (Evan), Carissa De Maria Stich (David), Joseph (Joey) De Maria, Christina De Maria, Matthew De Maria, Carl Joseph De Maria and Kathleen De Maria and 3 great grandchildren, Julian, Dean and Anthony. Mrs. De Maria was born March 28, 1937 in Brooklyn to Charles and Mildred Porrello. She married her husband September 28, 1957. She was a housewife/mother for much of her life. As her children grew, she entered the work force working at Lederle Labortories. Upon retirement, Mrs. De Maria and her husband relocated to Tampa, FL where they lived the remainder of their lives. All that knew Mrs. De Maria knew that her family was the most important to her and that she was a great cook. Heartfelt thanks to her care givers from Live at Home for the loving care they provided. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church at 17512 Lakeshore Dr., Lutz, FL 33558 with visitation at 8:00 am, Funeral Mass at 9:00 am and burial at Bushnell National Cemetery at 11:00 am.
