PARKER, Linda S, 77 of Tampa, FL., mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born in New Castle, IN. She moved to Tampa in 1986, and worked at St. Joseph Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center as a Medical Secretary. Survivors include her daughter, Tina Brengle (John); grandsons, Jason Day, Joshua Day, Brandon Evans (Andrea), Patrick Brengle (Courtney); great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Day and Jordan Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents; Howard & Ruth Hoagland, daughter; Deborah L. Day; and her partner of 29 years James Nichols.
She was a member of Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church. In her retirement she enjoyed being with family and her beloved pet Ellie, playing cards, painting, reading, going to the beach, and shopping. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place at 10 am with a memorial service at 11 am, Saturday, July 7th, at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. The burial will take place Sunday, July 8th at 12:30 pm at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church Columbarium.
