It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Louis "Woogie" Bajgier, age 76, on December 2, 2025 in his beloved hometown of Tampa surrounded by his loving partner, Sharon Cramer and family.
Woogie was born on April 5, 1949 in Tampa, Florida. He was a wonderful big brother to his sisters, Micki and Deena, and was always there for his family. Woogie grew up in a small house on Paul Avenue in South Tampa where he met and maintained lifelong friends from the age of eight. A gifted athlete, he proudly attended Robinson High School, playing both football and baseball. Known for his warmth and ability to connect with others, he made friends wherever he went. There are too many to name, but you all know how much you meant to him.
Many knew him as the fun-loving owner of Woogie's Pub in the Orlando area, where he successfully built and operated seven locations that were known for their friendly, neighborhood atmospheres.
Later, he moved back to the Tampa Bay area to reconnect with his buddies, take care of his beloved mother and be near his sisters. Upon his return, he made even more friends and got involved in various businesses, associations, and charities that meant a great deal to him.
In 1995, he met the love of his life, Sharon and together they shared over 30 years of partnership and devotion. He warmly embraced Sharon's children and grandchildren, loving them as his own, and took great pride in being known as "Grandpa Woogie."
Woogie is preceded in death by his mother, India Smith and his brother, Donald Bajgier.
Woogie is survived by his sisters, Micki L. Caldwell and her husband, Scott Caldwell and Deena B. Wegner and her husband, Walt Wegner; his nephew, Donald J. Bajgier (DJ), his niece, Elizabeth Bajgier, his grand niece and nephew, Madelynn and Nolan Bajgier.
He is also survived by his beloved partner, Sharon Cramer; his stepdaughter, Kimberly Cramer- Hernandez; his granddaughter, Ariana Hernandez; and his grandsons, EJ Cramer, Aidan, Jonas, and Josiah.
Woogie touched many lives and would be humbled by all the heartfelt tributes. Per his wish, he will be buried near his mother at Gardens of Memories in Tampa.
