Luu Vu

Born in Vietnam, Luu carried a spirit of warmth and graceful strength throughout her life. It was there that she met and married Loc Truong. Together, they became the loving parents of ten children, a family whose legacy continues through the generations – a legacy they now watch over together.

After immigrating to the United States, Luu worked endlessly to build a stable home and future for her family. Through every challenge, she remained hardworking and deeply committed to creating a life filled with opportunity for her loved ones. As a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, she brought intention, love, and care into each day. Her guidance and unwavering support shaped her family in ways that will be felt for years to come.

Everyone who had the privilege of being guided by her, cared for by her, or simply loved by her carries a piece of her spirit forward. She will be forever remembered, deeply missed, and always cherished by her entire family.

A Memorial Service in her honor will be held on Friday December 5th, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. Buddhist prayers will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm for those who wish to participate, and Visitation hours will be from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
