Marie Therese Desir

Marie Therese, is survived by her two children, Coeurlida Louis-Ashby M.D. and her son Darla Louis, and her three grandchildren, Andrew Lloyd Ashby, Bella Ashby and Ellie Louis. Additionally, her sister Marie Anne Jozie Desir along with her nieces Rose Kerline Lormine, Edwine Pierre, Mardoche Pierre, Vladino Pierre, her nephews, Vladimir and Vladino Pierre. As well as numerous family members both in Haiti and abroad.

Marie Therese exemplified integrity and was loved by all who knew her. Her passion for helping others, notably in healthcare where she served as a Pharmacy Technician for many years, was undeniable.

In July 19, 1999, she embraced and publicly dedicated her life to Jehovah. Her love for the Almighty pushed her to serve as a regular auxiliary pioneer-dedicating significant to preaching zealously alongside her fellow congregation members. Her love for Jehovah and the truth were shown in her teaching to others. We eagerly anticipate the day we will reunite with her! Marie Thérèse will be deeply missed, and her memory will continue to inspire us live with purpose and compassion.

A memorial service to honor Therese will take place at 2:30pm on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618.
