Mary Brenda Brown passed away in St. Petersburg, Fla. on January 25, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on May 23, 1941 to John W. and Rosemary Brown. Brenda relocated to Florida after retiring as a Maryland State Budget Controller. She was a member of The Most Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Gulfport. Brenda was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and served as president of the woman’s auxiliary for several years in Baltimore. She was the owner of a successful DJ business sharing her love of music, dancing and singing. Brenda had a passion for painting ceramics. Winning numerous awards including first place in the entire east coast in the free style division. She is survived by her husband, Robert Beck; children, Cheryl Evans (Steve), Rosemary Hohman (Titus Collins), Debra Sergent (James), Michael Ryan, Karen Kondelis (John); ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Brenda was proceeded in death by her parents; and grandson, Kurt D. Hohman , Jr.
