Mary G Graham

Mary G. Graham of Odessa, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday May 22, 2022, surrounded by family, at the age of 63. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ to Mary (Kielman) and Edward Gorga. Mary was raised in Colonia, NJ. She graduated from Barry University with a degree in Education. She taught elementary school in Miami, Tampa, Jacksonville and Charlotte, NC. Mary married Michael J. Graham in 1984.

Mary was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to raising her four children and took immense pride in their accomplishments as they grew. Watching them learn to swim, play sports, sing in choir, seeing all of them graduate college, and the birth of her granddaughter are just a few examples of what brought her joy. She was a member of St. Timothy Women’s Group. Mary was an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan and enjoyed gardening.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary, and Edward.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael and her beloved children. Megan K. Graham, Michelle A. Graham, Melanie E. Graham and her fiancé James M. Gilbert, Matthew E. Graham and his wife, Abbie N. Graham, and granddaughters Emilia C. and Rebekah R. Graham. She is also survived by her siblings, Carol Gorga-Williams, John P. Gorga, David A. Gorga and his partner Amy L. Bellingrath.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 10, 2022, at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz, FL. There will be a short visitation in the church Narthex, before the mass, beginning at 10:00 AM. Following the Funeral Mass, there will be a gathering in the Parish Center to celebrate Mary’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary’s name to the Moffitt Cancer Center at 12902 USF Magnolia Dr, Tampa, FL 33612.
