Nancy was a very dear friend. I treasure our times together. Our Trips to Houston international quilt shows a real fun time and retreats with appliqué group.
We had great times with the small quilt groups we belonged to. SASS being one of them. and the quilt guilds.
I am So glad she was a part of my life and she will be missed.
She loved her family and I felt I knew many of you with the stories she shared.
She was a wonderful leader. As the keystone quilters know.
We lost touch once Michael and I moved to the north Georgia mountains.
Blessings.
Bet Courey.

Nancy lit up a room no matter the occasion. What I remember most fondly is being on a QWS retreat and Sandy took several of us to a local quilt shop. I had a large number of blocks received for BOM and could not find any sashing that would pull everything together. Although Nancy was happily shopping, she took the time to help me. Her selection was perfect. As a consequence, I have the completed quilt with joyous, bright green sashing to greet me every time I enter my sewing room.

I always enjoyed Nancy at our local "Heart in Hand Applique Group" when we had our Retreats each year...She loved seeing everyone and enjoyed the camaraderie of like-minded friends ....she was a skilled quilter and she will be missed! She's probably organizing a new quilt group in Heaven!
