Norma G. Macalush, 94, of Palm Harbor, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home. Norma was born April 3, 1929 in Tampa. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Rosa, brother Pete, and sister Mavis. She is survived by her partner Don and loving family: daughter, Margaret (Robert) and son, Duane (Amy); grandchildren, Heather (Brad), Holly (David), Joseph (Amanda), Deanna (Mike), Michael, Alex, and Rhea and 12 great grandchildren. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, strong will, giving spirit and grace in accepting, whatever life sent her way. We will also recall her love of dancing, reading, and Hallmark Channel. She will be forever in our hearts. The family wishes to thank Suncoast Empath Hospice and Don for their compassionate care. A private service will be conducted by Rev. Garth with burial at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, Tampa on Thursday, August 24th. We shall steer safely through every storm, so long as our heart is right, our intention fervent, our courage steadfast, and our trust fixed on God."
