

Snyder, Patricia Browning, 87, of Tampa met her Savior on Oct 10, 2025. Born to Charley and Hazel Browning on Nov 11, 1937, in Madison, Florida. She moved to Tampa at a very young age and was raised in Sulphur Springs. She enjoyed being a cheerleader during her middle school years and graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1956. GO BIG RED. During her earlier years, she worked at General Telephone and St Joseph Main Outpatient Intake. As a faithful member of Idlewild Baptist Church, she taught women’s bible study classes for years until her health declined.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 62 years, W. Floyd Snyder, her only son Edwin (Eddie) Chinowth, and her siblings Joanne Lajudice, Ray Tyson, Judy Smith and precious friends, Elizabeth Voght and Marie Fernandez.
She is survived by her daughters Cheryl Livingston, Kimberly Carls, (Ray) and daughter-in law Renae Chinowth. The joys of her life were her grandchildren, Joey Livingston (Jessica), Jennifer Cason (Devon), Eric Livingston (Brittany), Emily Hamill (James), Elyse Kindle (Nate), Camber Chinowth, and Stormie Chinowth (Christian Garcia). She was also blessed to be gifted with 11 great- grandchildren. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Bob Smith, sister in law Betty Harrell, and special friends Carlita Wilson and Jackie Jarboe.
A visitation will be held on October 16, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Blount & Curry FH-Carrollwood, located at 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same venue from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. In honor of Patricia, you can wear something red to honor her if you would like.
Donations can be made in her name to the Idlewild Baptist Church for the Food Bank.
