Richard Eric Stagg

Survived by his wife Connie, sons Eric (Kara), Casey (Kim) and their mother Leslie (Don) Sammarco. Grandson Jax, granddaughters Tru, Ivy and Shiloh. Brother Terry (Barbara) Stagg, niece Tara (Jason) Breard and grandnieces/nephew, cousin Beverly Noble.

Richard was so proud of his sons and their families. He so adored his grandkids and looked forward to his visits with them.

Preceded in death by his loving parents Granville Mason (Jack) and Carolyn (Betty) also lovingly known by all family members as Nana, and grandparents Ripple and Stagg, aunts and uncles.

Richard was a Life Loyal Sig of the Sigma Chi Fraternity UCF Chapter in Orlando, Fl.

Richard was a Construction Technology Specialist at SiTech and enjoyed spending time with his friends, as well as his work family and customers throughout the Tampa Bay Area that he held close relationships with over the years.

Richard loved going on yearly beach vacations with his family and friends, especially if boating was involved. He shared a love of sports with his two sons, and especially enjoyed their weekly conversations with all the statistics, team players and more.

He was a dedicated Buccaneers Krewe Member. He and his wife Connie enjoyed going to all the games and cheering on the Bucs with all their Krewe Member family of friends. Go BUCS.

He was also passionate about Tampa Bay Lightning hockey and Rays baseball. He looked forward to watching his Florida State Seminoles. Although he did not play golf regularly… he loved being a part of a golf group of friends at his favorite sports bar (Winners Sports Bar & Grill).

A Celebration of Life & Reception will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Blount and Curry FH -,Carrollwood 3207 W Bearss Ave. Tampa, Fl 33618
