June (Chindy) was born in Claremore, Oklahoma to Richard and Mildred Eades on June 1, 1951. I served with June in the children’s ministry at IBC and she was such a sweet lady. She was so kind and considerate. She would send me a Christmas and Birthday card every year without fail. I loved her laugh. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I am deeply saddened by her death but know I will see her again. My heart goes out to Bob, her children and grand children.

I’ve known June since late 1990s. We were friends at church and worked with the children’s choir, and we attended BSF together for many years and rode together. She was so faithful to our Lord Jesus. She was so sweet to send me and my husband cards for all major holidays and on my birthday. I spoke with her not long ago. I’m going to miss her a lot and our chats and luncheons. I’ll be praying for Bob and her family during their time of loss. June was truly the Christ like servant and loved children and her family and friends. I love you June and I’ll surely miss you. Maybe I’m even a bit jealous that you are in the presence of Jesus now. I’m happy you are no longer in any pain from cancer. Please put in a good word about me to our best friend and Good Shepherd, Jesus! Love you always!! ❤️✝️

"When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure." I have so many memories of my friend, June. She and my Aunt June were both born in June, so that was an immediate draw to her. We met in a Sunday Morning Ladies Bible Study Class that I was teaching. Over the years we have enjoyed many hours of keeping up with family as well as discussing the things of the Lord. Our favorite place to talk was an Asian restaurant we loved to frequent. This was back in the days when you helped yourself. Those people must have thought we were never going to leave. It was the exact place she chose to share her diagnosis with me. Since that time we spoke and texted comparing chemo experiences. I'm hurting for you, her family, and for us, June's friends. I happened to think about the cards she would send at Valentine's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Her thoughtfulness was special. My sweet friend will be missed so much! Ever so thankful that June knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior. We do not worry about her because she is experiencing what none of us can even imagine.

June has been involved at Lake Magdalene Elementary as a Book Buddy and as a volunteer in the media center. Her grandchildren are one of her favorite topics of conversation. We will miss her tremendously, as will her grandchildren Samson and Jordan.

Richenda and I were classmates in elementary school in Oklahoma City. She was such a nice girl, and I remember how athletic she always was. We sometimes walked part-way home from school together. I have often thought of her over the years, and I wondered what became of her. I'm happy to hear she was such an inspiration and encourager. My condolences to her family and friends.

June was such a sweet, thoughtful and kind spirit. Her exceptional teaching abilities helped so many children throughout her career.
We will miss her terribly. Our only consolation is in knowing she is with Our Lord.
We are sending our love to you Bob and your dear children at this difficult time.

June was special to all who knew her. She could lift your spirits when you were down. Taking care of others was what seemed to make her the happiest. She'll be missed and thought of often. Brenda Michaels

To the family and all of us who were blessed to have June in our life, my prayers, love and condolences. I have many great mems with June and would like to share one of my favs. June and I had rented a hotel room at St. Pete Beach for a couple of days. While we were sitting on the beach talking and laughing (I loved her laugh) this proud person in the pic behind her was walking up and down the beach. I had to get a pic but didn't want to make it obvious so I asked June to pose like I was taking her pic! It's a great pic of her too. She was always smiling. She brought light and positivity into my life and I am going to miss her so much. There will always be an empty place in my heart for her but have peace that one day we will sit together chatting and laughing again!

I had the privilege and gift of June's friendship for over thirty years.
She was a mentor and teacher of doing good. Her legacy to the friends, students, and parents who were privileged to know her will be to show compassion, empathy, understanding, and love to all.
In her quiet way, she was an example and role model of the best of humanity.
Thank you, my dear friend.

Aunt Chindy was rare. No matter what she always knew what to say & with love. She had great wisdom & you just knew The Lord was the center of her life. She loved like a true Christ Follower does. She loved others with her presence, support, encouragement, with her gifts, with Patient listening, thoughtful surprises & so many more ways. Aunt Chindy had a light she carried & it was always noticed. It was definitely her thing to put others first. I always enjoyed her stories of the past. Her family after Christ was her heart & it came so natural. She would always send us cards in the mail for every occasion Just to let us know they were thinking about us, praying for us & that they love & miss us. You could never have too much time with Aunt Chindy. The times we had with her of course were too short but, so grateful for the times we were gifted. They will be remembered & cherished. I believe Aunt Chindy made an impact on so many lives that her legacy will never fade. How she encouraged me personally, to honor her I want to press forward with those things she said to always do and/or had requested. Thank you Lord for your generosity in sharing such an amazing Christ Follower with the world. Until next time sweet Auntie. We love & miss you dearly.
