He started working for the post office in 1976 in Miami. He transferred to Louisville, KY in 1981, then after the birth of his daughter he transferred to Tampa. He retired after nearly 40 yrs.
He enjoyed going to the dog park with Devo and socializing with other dog owners. Being with his grand-daughter who he said was his “best”friend and researching on the computer.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ray and Alice Jane(Peeples) Grimes.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Janet (Catinella), his daughter Julianne Bennett (George) and his grand-daughter. Also his sister Gail Young and brother Michael Grimes(Trish) and nephews, Ray(Nicole)Young, Chris(Jennifer)Young and Michael(Holly) Grimes.
