Rupert was born in George Town of the Cayman Islands. He moved to Florida after he decided to serve in the United States Army. Rupert proudly served his country as a sea captain.
Rupert was predeceased by his loving wife, Althea Bodden and his two children, Douglas Bodden, and Deborah (Whitley) Bodden. Survivors: Grandchild, Christopher Whitley and Rupert’s two great-grandchildren, Nolan and Raven. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11AM at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E Lake Avenue, Tampa, Fl 33610. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to services from 10AM -11:00AM. Interment will immediately follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
