Terrie Sue Hartzog, age 67, of Sanford, Florida, passed away on February 12, 2026. Born on January 4, 1959, to Carolyn Rowland and Bob Tillis, Terrie was lovingly raised with the guidance of Delbert Bush and Jo Ella Tills. She cherished her childhood memories of trips to Daytona Beach and fishing adventures with her three brothers: Bobby Steven, Lee, and Keith.
Terrie met her devoted husband, Norris Hartzog Jr., during her freshman year at Lyman High School. Their connection blossomed, leading to a lifelong partnership that began with their marriage on June 18, 1977. Together, they raised three children, building a family rooted in love. Terrie worked in the insurance industry, but her main passion was raising her children and crafting. She especially enjoyed creating floral arrangements and Christmas decor. Terrie’s support for her family was endless, and her joy touched anyone whom she connected with. Terrie triumphally fought against multiple health issues through sheer will and her faith.
She is survived by Norris Hartzog Sr. (father-in-law), Norris Hartzog Jr. (husband), Suzanne Stewart (daughter), Norris Hartzog III (son), Timothy Hartzog (son), Austin Riley (grandson), Liadan Stewart (granddaughter), Tyler Stewart (grandson), and Alexandra Stewart (great-granddaughter) and Keith Tillis (half-brother).
She was preceded in death by Patricia Hartzog, Carolyn Tillis Bush, Delbert Bush (stepfather, whom she loved dearly), Bobby Tillis, and Jo Ella Tillis (stepmother).
