Thomas John Meyferth

Thomas was born in Passaic, NJ to John and Dorothy Meyferth on November 11, 1942. He went to school at Ramapo Regional High School. He married Wilma Perkins on November 8th, 1965, in Frankfurt, Germany. He graduated from University of Rhode Island. He worked as a Collections Manager for GTE Credit Union and Kash-N-Karry Credit Union for many years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force. He played on the Rhine Maine Rockets Air Force Football team while stationed in Frankfurt, Germany.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father, John Meyferth and mother, Dorothy Meyferth Burtch.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Wilma; by his son, Donald (Karen) and daughter, Patricia Grice (Scott); Sisters, Lois Carota and Donna Pompilio (Tom); Grandchildren, Derek, Cameron (Bethany), Kaitlyn and Kaylee; Great-Grandchildren, Theodore and Eleanor.

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, August 17th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brandon with Pastor Phil Ressler, officiating. Burial will follow at 11am, Monday, August 19th at Garden of Memories. Arrangements are by Blount & Curry Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to University of Rhode Island Scholarship Fund or VFW and Red Cross.
