Hello, first of I am totally in shock that Travis has left us. I have thought about him every day since hearing about his death, it was like losing one of my own children. I and his mother were friends and neighbors when we were pregnant with our boys. I have known Travis since his birth. We lived above them in the apartments. Every childhood birthday, school year, Christmas, we were together for some time to celebrate. I remember how Travis loved his Hess truck collection and Hot wheel cars. Travis always loved COPS the tv show. He knew all of the police codes before he decided to be a cop because of his love for the show. I always knew he would be a great cop. Our boys grew up as best buddies for a long time until sandy moved and so did we. We lost connection until we caught up with each other again when they moved from Valrico. We actually took over their house there. Travis was such a great young man, the day that we moved in their house in valrico, Travis help us moved,,, it was his 21st birthday and New Years eve, but he still showed up to help. That was the kind of person he was. Always such a great friend and son. He always made his mom very proud. Travis you will be so missed. We love you very much. I hope that you are finally united with your mom and dad and grandma. God bless to all his wonderful friends that were there for him when sandy had passed. You did become his big family. God bless our men and women in blue!

Travis was a bright light during sold-out events at the Tampa Theatre, where he was part of a small group of TPD officers to come monitor these shows. I don't know how many people realize that he would take these shifts, but anytime I walked in, knowing what the night had in store, and saw Travis, there was always a smile put on my face! He always made these hectic nights better with jokes to make us all laugh. He will be deeply missed by the entire Tampa Theatre staff.

We met Travis when he was a teen and our son went into the Explorers. Travis helped guide our son into adulthood through the Explorer training and activities. He was a model of excellence that the kids could look up to and rely on and he will be missed by many people who’s lives he touched.
