Swett, Valerie N.,57, of Tampa passed away on July 21, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital North with her husband & caregiver at her side. She was born in Louisville, KY & moved to Tampa in 2001. She was the youngest daughter of the late, Wandah Johnson Stimac Nations & Thomas Stimac. Survivors include her husband; Michael Swett, sister Leigh Nations & many loving cousins, extended family & friends. Valerie was a loving wife & best friend. Her love of laughter, gullibility, fun-loving free spirit, belief in God & her fellow human & animal friends, her great hugs, & in the end, her warrior spirit endeared her to all who spent any time with her. She was our fleeting star & the beat in our hearts here on earth & now joins our guardian angels forever. Services to celebrate our beloved Valerie’s life will take place on Saturday, August 2, 2014 , 2:30pm at the Blount & Curry Carrollwood Chapel. The family will receive friends ½ hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the USF Communication Sciences and Disorders Dept. and/or your local Humane Society.
