William "Lloyd" Brock

William Lloyd Brock, 96 of Tampa, FL. passed on April 20, 2025. Born and raised in Cottondale, FL., Lloyd graduated from Cottondale High School and then The University of Tampa with a Bachelor of Science, 1967. After servicing in the United States Navy, he later went on to have a profound career with the United States Department of Treasury where he retired from after 29 years.

Lloyd enjoyed traveling and visited all of the United States including Alaska and Hawaii. He loved family gatherings, from family reunions to birthday dinner celebrations. Lloyd also had a sense of adventure, enjoying water skiing in his youth and later with his daughters along with snow skiing later in life with his granddaughters.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Grace Shores Brock; sisters, Dorothy Wilfred, Geraldine Cutchins; brothers, Hubert, Clinton and Henry; and son in law, Tom Stewart.

Survived by his wife of 74 years, Betty Pittman Brock; daughters, Jennifer Gregory (Jim), Carol Stewart; granddaughters, Meredith, Shelby Jessica and Ellen and 7 great-grandchildren.

Military Honors will be rendered at 10:30 am on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513.
