Dad, 

I can't put into words how much I miss you. I still can't believe you're gone. I'm beyond grateful to have had you for 31 years. I always looked up to you and admired your work ethic. You were more of a dad than I could have ever asked for. You always told me I could do anything I wanted as long as I put my mind to it. You believed in me more than I believed in me. Looking back to my childhood you had so much faith in me. I'll never forget the first time you told me to go hook the motor home up to the trailer and go get gas. Thinking he trust me to do this at 16? But you taught me well. You worked so hard so that I could do the things I wanted to do and give me the things you never had. You were beyond selfless. At times we bumped heads but as I grew older I'm thankful I was able to understand that you were trying to teach me lessons that I needed to be successful in life. You were a hell of a business man and I've had so many people reach out to tell me how great you were and how true your word was to them. I'm grateful you taught me drywall and to run a business. I'm so happy you were able to see me be successful in drywall and also to see Brecken and Harlow. It breaks my heart you won't be here to watch them grow. Brecken loved coming to grandpas. Everytime we'd get ready to turn into your neighborhood he would get so excited because he knew where we were gong. Near the end when you were in the hospital you told me you wanted to live long enough to meet Harlow, Celebrate Thanksgiving at home and your Birthday. We got to do all three but I wish it wasn't the last time. You're always going to be on my mind and in my heart. I will miss you forever and always. I would do anything to hear your voice, hug you or see you. I'm gonna miss calling you after a crazy day at work asking for your advice. I love you with all of my heart. I hope you're looking down on us smiling. Until we see each other again.

Bill  was a man I deeply respected, not only as a hard-nosed, hard-working contractor, whose word could always be counted on  - but also over the last 28 years I have worked with him - as a friend and very devoted father and family man.  He will be greatly missed and always remembered within my heart. May God bless Bill and may God’s Hand be close to his family here as they go forward.

I remember going to work with my day one day when I was 19. I wanted to go to Gasperilla and needed money. So he let me work with him, my only job was to hold the hose and not let it hit the walls as he sprayed, WELL I hit EVERY wall there was to hit!! So I was fired from that position and sent to Checkers to get the whole crew lunch. But he still paid me $100 for that day even after all I did was pick up food and ruin his walls!! I hope you rest in peace Dad. 

Words cannot adequately express the pain I'm feeling for your loss. God says he is close to the broken hearted and crushed in spirit. May you feel God's boundless love and comfort.  Sending you and your family our deepest condolences.

Bill would wear a man down trying to keep up with him , him banjoing  me wiping down the tape behind him .
When you were done you knew you put in a days work !

I am deeply grateful for the time shared with Bill growing up racing motorcycles. Bill was a generous and kind soul.  God Bless the Talmadge Family.

Bill's legacy lives on and it was an honor to be able to know him.
