WISE, William Claude Jr., 88, of Tampa entered into rest July 4, 2021. William was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. October 25, 1932 and moved to Tampa in 1958. He worked for Johnson Drug Company for many years and retired from Economy Drug Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Wise Sr. and Annie Mae Childs Wise Yambura. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Doris; sister, Vickie Bender of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister-in-law, Cynthia Riggs; nephews, Thomas Riggs, Jonathan Riggs both of Tampa, Michael Bender of Virginia Beach, Va.; nieces, Kelly Van Maenen of New Jersey, Nora Bender of Virginia Beach, Va.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. July 13, 2021 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, Tampa. Entombment to follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
