Betty Lee Crathers

Betty was born in Bartlett on November 23, 1936 to the late Cora Lee Clark and Jimmy Lee Sanders. She was raised and educated in Bartlett, Texas. She married Willie (Billy) L.C Crathers Sr, in 1951, and they were married for 48 years.

Betty worked as a cook for Bluebonnet Nursing Home and Will-O-Bell Nursing Home.

Betty is survived by her three sons; Charles Ray Crathers Sr, Lindsay Ray Crathers, and Willie L.C Crathers Jr (Candace), of Bartlett, Texas; one daughter, Alice Jean Cummings (Robert) of Round Rock, Texas; two brothers, Clyde Clark of Dallas, Texas, Bobby Ray Clark (Helen) of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Ruby Thomas of Big Springs, Texas, Willie Faye Sanders of Dallas, Texas; with 23 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; with a host of great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; Cora Clark and Jimmy Sanders and Robert Clark Sr; her husband Willie L.C Crathers; her sons James Sanders and Jimmy Crathers; her daughters Doris Ann and Bettye Jean Crathers; her sister Mary Jones; her brother Robert Clark Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Wesley Johnson, Nathaniel Crathers, and Dave Jefferson. Gerald Flowers, Stafford Lipscomb, Darrit Crathers Jr, and Emmit Johnson will serve as active pallbearers.
