Freddie Kubiak

Freddie was born on April 25, 1958, to Bill and Victoria (Glinkski) Kubiak in Marlin, Texas. Though he considered Clifton his hometown, he spent most of his life in Austin and Pflugerville. On August 18, 1979, he married the love of his life, Lois Ruth Anderson. Together, they were blessed with three children: Joshua, Chelsea, and Lexi.

In 2011, Freddie embraced one of his greatest joys—becoming a grandfather. Affectionately known as “Papa Freddie,” he cherished every moment with his grandchildren: Jack, Eden, Graham, Ryker, and Jeremiah.

Freddie left this earthly life on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the age of 67 years, 3 months, and 14 days. He is deeply mourned by his son, Joshua David Kubiak and wife, Clara Guerrero; daughter, Chelsea Rae Kubiak and fiancé, Gerardo Mariscal; daughter, Lexi Nichole Kubiak and wife, Kristi; and his beloved grandchildren, Jack, Eden, and Graham Naylor, Ryker Kubiak, and Jeremiah Mariscal. He is also survived by his brothers, Leon and wife, and Raymond; sisters, Ann, Patricia and husband, Marvin, Margaret, Beatrice, and Lucille; sister-in-law, Reiko; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Victoria Kubiak; his wife, Lois Kubiak; brothers, Christopher, Roy and wife, Donna, and Bill Kubiak; nephew, Christopher; and niece, Brittany.
